He is fully qualified in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, eligible for accreditation as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and is studying for a PhD. He works in a “relational” or “psychodynamic” style based on the theory that issues in relationships in your everyday life, or your past, eventually manifest themselves in the relationship with the therapist. Thus they can be identified and transformed. This is done by working with thoughts, feelings, body sensations and behaviours, both conscious and unconscious. This journey can be long or short and may be very painful at times but the ultimate goal is to enable the client to live a more fulfilling life.
Kieran is also trained and experienced supervision and training. |
